Labiaplasty
Every anatomy is unique and for some women, changes in the labia can cause both physical and emotional discomfort. An excess of inner labial tissue (labia minora) may lead to asymmetry, irritation during exercise, difficulty wearing certain clothes, or a loss of confidence in intimacy. The outer labia (labia majora) can also lose volume or become deflated with age or after pregnancy.
A labiaplasty is a safe and effective procedure designed to address these concerns - either by carefully reducing excess tissue to relieve discomfort, or by restoring volume to create a more balanced, natural appearance. The procedure is usually performed under local anaesthesia, though general anaesthesia is also available if preferred. Using delicate techniques, any excess tissue is carefully removed, the labia is gently reshaped and dissolvable stitches are placed to support healing and minimise scarring. In some cases, fat grafting can be used to restore volume and rejuvenate the outer labia.
