Otoplasty (Prominent Ear Correction)

Prominent ears can affect how a person feels about their appearance from a young age. Whether for children, teens, or adults, otoplasty is a refined surgical procedure designed to reshape and reposition the ears, creating a natural, balanced look that enhances facial harmony without drawing attention to the ears.

During the procedure, an incision is made on the back of the ears and the cartilage is then carefully reshaped to create a ‘helical fold’. Sutures are also used to position the ears closer to the head. The incision is hidden within the natural crease behind the ears, so visible scarring is minimal.
